Architectural Overview & Case Study
CheckQr is a full-stack web application designed to simplify and secure event attendance tracking through dynamic QR code verification. By automating check-ins and check-outs across multi-session events, it reduces waiting times and eliminates manual paper logging bottlenecks.
Key Features & Architecture
- Dual Verification Workflow:
- Self-Check-In: Attendees scan session-specific QR codes directly using their user accounts.
- Officer-Assisted Mode: Attendance officers manually enter attendee IDs or scan user QR badges for high-volume entry points.
- Session & QR Lifecycle Management: Allows event managers to control check-in/check-out windows in real time by toggling active session periods and generating or deactivating dynamic QR tokens.
- Real-Time Analytics & Reporting: Provides comprehensive data views and attendance logs, offering organizers immediate visibility into participant counts and session statistics.
- Built-In Communication: Features internal user search and direct messaging capabilities to facilitate attendee coordination during events.
